Can I get my driving record?
Driver Record Points Summary
You may get a summary of your driving record points for free online. This will tell you how many points are on your driving record.
You may get your own three-year or ten-year driving record at any time for $6.
To get the full report of another driver, you must have the driver’s consent or have a specific reason for the information as found under the federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994. These uses include, but are not limited to:
- Government agencies
- Businesses to verify information
- Court proceedings
- Insurance companies
- Commercial driver’s licenses
The full report is $6. You may also request a copy by mail by completing a Request for Driver Information (SCDMV Form MV-70). Include as much information as possible on the form and mail it to the address below:
PO Box 1498

You should include a payment, made out to the SCDMV, for $6. Do not mail cash.
