Transaction Information

This transaction allows you to exchange your current license plate for a different license plate design.

To complete this transaction:

  • Your registration must be in good standing with DMV.
  • Your decal expiration must not be due to expire within 90 days.
  • You must have a valid VISA, MasterCard, or Discover card that will be charged the amount due.
  • You must have your current vehicle registration in front of you.
Please ensure that the address shown on your registration is correct. If necessary, your residence, mailing and temporary addresses may be changed using the Address Change transaction BEFORE continuing with this transaction. Specialty fees are non-refundable.
