Road Use Fee

Road Use Fee, formerly known as property taxes filed with the South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) on Form PT-441, are now paid at the time you register or renew your commercial motor vehicle at the SCDMV. You will no longer have to complete a form and the system will calculate the amount due for road use fees.

The SCDMV began collection of road use fees effective January 1, 2019 on intrastate commercial vehicle with a gross weight of 26,001 pounds or more.
